About HVAC in Dripping Springs, TX

Cooling season here runs most of the year, and that changes what matters.

In Dripping Springs, TX, an air conditioner works far more hours than the same unit would further north. Compressors accumulate runtime, capacitors fail in the heat, and a system that was merely adequate in April becomes the reason a house sits at 82 degrees in August. Pao Card plans around that reality rather than treating summer as an emergency that arrives once.

What we do

• Repair. We diagnose before quoting. A unit that will not cool can be a failed capacitor, a seized contactor, low refrigerant from a leak, or a compressor at end of life. Those are wildly different bills, and you deserve to know which one you have.
• Replacement and installation. Sized from a load calculation, not by matching the old unit's tonnage. Oversizing is the most common error we find in this region: a system too large cools the air fast, shuts off, and never runs long enough to pull moisture out. The house ends up cold and clammy.
• Maintenance. Coil cleaning, drain line clearing, refrigerant check, capacitor testing before it fails in July rather than after.
• Ductwork. Leaky ducts in an unconditioned attic can waste a quarter of what you paid to cool.

How we work

Written pricing before work begins. Technicians who show you the failed part and explain what it does. Straight answers on repair versus replace, including when the honest answer is that your system has several good years left.
